Unfair default

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the way my account has been handled. I signed up with Credit Salvage for credit clearance services as a returning customer, after previously using your services and referring several clients to your consultant, Sindile. However, after one failed debit order due to unavailable funds, my account was immediately placed under default without fair consideration or proper service delivery. After being contacted regarding the failed payment, I informed your team that my payments were delayed and proposed to make a deposit instead. This was refused, and I was told it was not allowed. I find this extremely unfair, especially considering that no actual credit clearance services had yet been carried out on my account. It is unacceptable to place a customer under default when no service has been rendered. As customers, we should only be expected to pay for services that have actually been provided. Furthermore, many of the people I referred to your company have experienced similar issues: multiple follow-ups, ongoing deductions, and very slow or non-existent service delivery. I trusted Credit Salvage based on my previous experience, but this has left me highly disappointed. I worked with an attorney named Chemonay, who was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process and I've seen definite progress in my credit score and was approved for a credit card with ABSA after 3 months.

I just want to thank Credit Salvage for clearing most of the negative flags on my credit report through credit Bureau. My credit score has improved immensely and my credit report looks good and am truly grateful for the service provided. I am still unable to get credit yet perhaps it's because it's still too soon after the file was completed by Credit Salvage but it's promising. My sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the professionalism shown by Sindile from Credit Salvage. There were times when I wasn't getting response when I ask questions regarding information from Credit bureaus which were sent directly to me or when a person assigned to help me wasn't keeping to promises made or not responding to my queries for over a week or two, when I refer the matter to Sindile he would always attend to it immediately and apologise for all misunderstandings and delays in responding to my concerns. Apart from it taking a while (I am just impatient), the overall experience was great! Chemonay was thorough, kept me updated often and even sent me the links to various credit bureaus to keep track of my credit scores after. 10 out of 10, would recommend!!

No responses from Sindile

Initially I received great service from Sindile, however it has gotten to a point where I get no response or updates on outstanding matters. It has been over 3 months and there has been no resolve, which has now resulted in my credit profile showing defaults. It seems that the consultants are great up until they need to sort out the admin.

Refusal to terminate services and unhappy with service

I have sent a request via email and on the portal to terminate services, however I have received no response on the process to do so. I have older accounts on my credit profile such as lime and finchoice that need to be removed but there's been a focus only Woolworths and Absa for the last three months,. As such I no longer want the services as i am not being assisted how I thought I would be. I am not able to take calls during working hours and I have indicated that. But. My request remains
