I became aware about an issue that I was very unhappy about. Well after many years working and knowing the current SA I never knew that there are still people around of the caliber of Memory. I was blown away to find out there are still such people currently in the working environment. I would like to commend Janika Marais on her professionalism and problem solving skills. She received our complaint after months of no feedback and countless emails to debt rescue. Our home loans was in arrears aimce last year November and she helped reach out to us in February. She then reached out to our bank to rectify the error. She then assisted us is updating our payment allocation plan to a faster payment plan. She has been very patient with us and ensured the query is closed and all our concerns are addressed. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the handling of my account and the service I have received since engaging your company in January 2026. I approached your organisation in good faith, seeking structured assistance to regain financial stability within a three-year period. At the time, I was already under financial strain and was looking for professional guidance to begin 2026 on a stronger footing. During January, I engaged with a finance executive who took me through the process and documentation. Towards the end of the month, I was advised to change my bank account due to timing concerns regarding creditor debits. I declined this suggestion and instead proposed that creditor engagement begin at the start of February to avoid unnecessary disruption. On 12 February 2026, I submitted all requested documentation to ensure sufficient time for creditor communication and finalisation before month-end. However, by the end of February, I discovered that creditors had not been successfully finalised or prevented from debiting my account. As a result, my creditors proceeded with their debit orders, while I was simultaneously requested to make payment to your organisation based on the signed documentation. This placed me in a significantly worse financial position than when I initially sought assistance. After settling my contractual obligations, I was left with no available funds, yet still expected to make payment to your company. This defeats the very purpose of seeking financial relief and has caused considerable stress and uncertainty. I am further concerned about the level of support and communication provided by the assigned consultant. I do not feel adequately guided, nor have workable solutions been presented. Instead, I am now required to arrange payment for an instalment I was financially unable to meet — a situation directly resulting from the lack of timely coordination with creditors. I therefore request the following, in writing: Confirmation of the exact date on which all creditors were formally notified. Proof of communication sent to each creditor. A detailed breakdown of all fees charged to date. A clear explanation as to why creditor debit orders were not prevented before requesting payment from me. Escalation of my matter to a senior consultant or manager for urgent review. I entered this process seeking structured relief and professional support. Instead, I find myself in a more distressed financial position. I expect this matter to be reviewed urgently and resolved fairly. I look forward to your prompt written response.
